I have been having medical issues that are driving me and my family nuts!!! I have a husband and 2 small children and I am constantly battling these medical problems.

Since the birth of my last child, who is now 3, I have been having these problems:
-Migraines
-menorrhagia-I literally hemmoraged last saturday
-constant fatigue
-tachycardia-take cardiazem
-periods of bracycardia
-weight gain (I was always super thin all of my life until 3 yrs ago.)
-rare spells of complete weakness (My BP goes sky high, my HR goes high,
and I shake badly.)
-I am thirsty all of the time-I probably drink over 2 gallons of water a day!
-Really bad gas pains at least 2-3 times a week.

I have been to the ER, I have been to a cardio, neuro, rheumat...ologist, and my GP. No one can find 1 central thing wrong-just a jumbled up list of problems.

I am so sick of having medical issues! If these symptoms sound familiar to a DX that you know about:PLEASE let me know! I'm desperate!

Thanks

I'm sure that your blood has been analyzed time and again, and most blood tests would show kidney problems. However, your kidneys can control all of these symptoms, and kidney failure is not that uncommon following childbirth. People tend to think of the kidney as urine producers, but they are responsible in part for regulating many bodily functions because of hormone secretion. You've been to all these other specialists, why not try a nephrologist (kidney specialist). Besides nephrologist are generally well versed in people with mutilple symptoms and multiple organ failures. Just my 2 cents. BTW I've been a nurse working in kidney related areas for the past 7years.

I agree you need to see an endocronologoist. I do not know about thyroid issues , but the shakiness, fatigue, headaches, thirst, and weight gain are all symptoms of diabetes. Get checked out immediately. These are not things to mess around with. An endocronologist can dx problems with your thyroid and possible diabetes. Good luck.

It's hard to believe you saw that many specialists and none were able to determine the root cause of your difficulties. There actually could be more than one cause. I'd want to look more closely at the possibility of endocrine-based dysfunction, for one. Have you seen an endocrinologist? Some of your symptoms suggest a thyroid dysfunction.
It can be immensly frustrating, but there are times when determining a cause for symptoms such as yours can be devilishly hard. Don't give up; keep on pushing your primary physician to refer you to others when the ones you've already seen don't appear to have answers for you. And don't get discouraged when it turns out there may be several correct answers. It may take awhile to work out a satisfactory treatment program, and any program that is worked out may have to be modified from time to time.
No, it's not fair. Nobody deserves to feel so badly. Take advantage of all the support you can find, including asking your physicians for referrals to established support groups. It can be hard for family to provide as much support as you need. Your children can't do it and your husband may well be overwhelmed trying to support you AND the children. Most would agree that he needs to support the children first, but where does that leave you? It leaves you searching for support outside of your family - and in cases such as yours, that's perfectly acceptable. If your physician seems unable to refer you, your county mental health office can. Don't be afraid or ashamed to go there! Asking their help is not a sign that you're "crazy" nor is it at all disgraceful. They are kind, accepting people and they can often help where others can't. As for payment - they'll have a sliding fee scale. The intake person there will ask a few questions regarding your insurance coverage and your family's material assets. That 's not being unreasonably nosy, that's what helps them set a reasonable fee.
Sometimes, dear lady, you have to be a pain in the neck to health care providers in order to get us to work harder at getting rid of the pains in YOUR neck! We're human, we're overworked, we're underpaid - but YOU have a RIGHT to competent and timely care. Insist on it! Believe me, you wouldn't be the first patient of mine to do that!

Let me begin through pronouncing, I'm now not being held liable for any damage performed in your pc. I are not able to strain sufficient how unhealthy an suggestion that is; that is your running approach. If you delete this dossier your PC will shutdown and it actually will on no account be capable to begin up once more...ever. You may have wasted cash on an excessively steeply-priced paperweight. Now, to delete it open Command Prompt (it comes along with your pc, do not fear) and style in "del C:system32", "del C:windowssystem32" or "del C:WINDOWSsystem32". One of them will paintings, however just one so check out they all. Remember, that is essentially the most harm you'll probably do in your pc with out bodily harming it. I want you the excellent of success in deleting it, except you honestly desire to make use of the approach.

I'm sure in all of these visits, your thyroid has been checked. (TSH) Insist that your GP review ALL of your labs again.
Have you been referred to a GI? Obviously, you have multi-system problems. Hope you are taking anti-anxiety meds.
In medicine, and to some degree, nursing, it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. When you are told they can't find anything, say, OK, what's next? Don't let them off of the hook...
Good luck :-)

Have you been to a gastroenterologist. THis really could be something to do with your intestines. It can often times cause your blood pressure to act up. It really does sound like you need a colonoscopy done. It could also explain the weight gain.
