Met this girl after playing a gig, and we hit it off pretty well, and shes absolutely gorgeous, but a party animal, im a party animal too, but when it comes to liking someone, which is rare in my case cause i usually just wanna date, but i really like this girl and i know she likes me cause weve told each other, but how do i get this girl to be my girlfriend and take us seriously. I thought about asking her where she would like to go with this, because shes stayed over, but i wont allow myself to sleep with her yet cause i like her too much and ive always told myself i wont sleep with someone that i like cause it will just take all the excitement away from the relationship. i have this rule where if i do sleep with a girl immediately then i wont date her, and ive been encountering that way too much lately and i really want a girlfriend and i want her to be my girlfriend, but i have to tell her the right way and find the right time, but i want her to know that im serious about her.

In your heart, you will find the right answer and know the right time. Every person is different and you are the best expert on this girl. With that being said, to really show how serious you are, you can serenade her or do something really romantic like take her out to a lookout point for some stargazing. When the time comes, just share your feelings honestly. It's good that you have not slept with her as it means that there could be something more than just intercourse. Good luck with getting her to see that you want a serious relationship.

Take her on a nice (nice restaurant etc.) dinner, then a movie or something like that. Some dancing. Some intimate dancing type of thing. A kiss and take her home. Call her the next day, and say thank you for a wonderful evening. Let's do it again. That sort of thing and progress to a real relationship.

Wait....Sorry, my brain just exploded. Okay. Just show her you are serious and she will then take the relationship seriously. Be a grown-up and tell her you really like her and would like an exclusive relationship. Go from there.

Just say it! She probably feels the same if she slept over. Tell her exactly what you want in a relationship and that way there are no surprises later.
