I've got a black Fiat Cinquecento 1994 L reg with 60,000 miles. My dad wants to get rid of it now that i've gone to university but i don't really want it to be scrapped as it holds a lot of sentimental value. Considering it has no tax or MOT i'm not expecting to get very much. What would be the best way of getting rid of it whilst getting a bit of money back?

Shop around to see how much one would be going for with an mot.

Then way up whether it is worth getting it through the MOT.

A car with an MOT is worth far more than without.

Try eBay, auto trader or car max.
You can sell it to the local radio station for a promotion, whack the car for charity. Every one pays something to take a one whack at he car with a bat, and the money is donated to a good charity.

Advertise it in your local paper as for sale, spares or repair, this way a private buyer with a similar vehicle may be able to keep their car on the road
