Buy another CD from eBay or computer fairs and hope Mr. Gates does not find out. I found ME much better than 98 as it configures external flash and hard drives much more easily.

Unlike XP there is no activation limit, however if it is the upgrade version you will need a genuine version of 95 on the machine or a least the disk to hand to verify you are a legitimate upgrader. Windows 98Lite is available for a small fee and no code is needed and its far superior especially if you have an old laptop with small HD and low memory

Microsoft have had the money for 98 but no longer distribute or support it
