limewire starts up automatically when i boot my comp and it starts again and again though i close it. i already tried 'msconfig' , and limewire option > advanced > uncheck the button, but they didn't work. wat should i do??pls help mee!!

Listen o Terry B.Limewire is crap.Either go with his suggestion or try Ares.I have been using it and it works great.Here is the link..

you should be able to go into preferences and change it there. When I installed it on my computer, it asked if I wanted Limwire to run when I booted up my computer. I never allow that to happen. I do not have limewire on this computer, but you should be able to find preferences from on of the tabs located on the top left of the page.

hey go to limewire when it starts go to tools and then options then advance in the explorer in the box then untick the run at system startup

Thats a crap program.... Unless you want your data shared with all of the other people that have Limewire. More like LAMEWIRE!
Its just par for the course that you cant get rid of it easily.
Use the USENET for all your stealing.

go to start all programs startuip and delete everything in the folder
