The biggest fear of most people is to speak in front of a crowd. You are like most people so don't worry too much. Even seasoned speakers have the jitters. One way of reducing your anxiety is to be well prepared for your topic. have breathing exercises before you start. Take a deep inhalation and then a deep exhalation. Do this as long as you feel nervous. it will help relieve the strain. Opening and closing the fist can also help, because your tension will go to your fists. No matter what state you are in when already in front of the stage, never accept inferno of the audience how nervous you are. Instead act confident and if you don't feel it, imagine yourself an actor who is acting out being confident. Whenever there is an opportunity for you to speak, do so. Practise will reduce our fear little by little. A little bit of anxiety is good, because it will motivate you to perform better and better. Good luck.

Often you imagine and tell subconcious that you have no stage fear, can talk freely, extempore & cut joks conveying useful meaning. Attempt to speak in front of mirror by looking at your eyes. Grab any opportunity to talk in a stage though you may fumble once or twice, this gives an experience that nothing went wrong even you made mistakes in the speach. slowly you will get rid of the fear. Best of luck

Practise is the only way to get rid of stage fear. Try and participate in many events, class presentations and debates. Initially it will be difficult, but it can improve drastically over time. Counselling is very helpful in some cases, and you may want to consult a therapist to get over the problem.
