Alot of food products contain alcohol ... white wine sauces, beef and ale pies, liquor chocolates etc. Arrange another test and watch what you eat a few days previously. Alcohol theoretically only stays in your blood for 48 hours.

Can't be. If you had abstained, the alcohol would be out of your system by now. And alcohol from the swab would not even measure. You sure you did not have some alcohol???? Only way for the test to be positive.

Alcohol leaves the body fairly quickly, but there are certain tests that can be drawn to determine if someone is chronically abusing alcohol.

Are you absolutely sure you didn't drink any? Lots of products have alcohol as an ingredient, such as cough syrups. Same with meals. I've got an onion soup recipe that has a 1/2 cup of Vermouth in it. How much alcohol did your test show?
