Offer plenty of fluids, popsicles, and things that are easy on the mouth; IE yogurt. You can even get inventive and mix ovaltine with milk for the vitamins. You have nothing to worry about as long as she keeps hydrated. Her appetite will return once her mouth stops hurting from the teeth. My son is the same way.

My daughter did the same thing when she was teething (slowed down eating with first two teeth, again with second two teeth and now again with third set). She is also 11 months.
Don't worry. Try to feed her as much as she'll eat but she still gets the large majority of her calories and nutrients from her bottles (or sippy cups if she is advanced). Solid foods teach her the art of eating and get her digestive system working but aren't the basis for her complete nutrition yet. My daughter loves Yobaby yogurt. It is cold and soothing and actually has more calories than most of the foods that I try feeding her so I reach for that if all else fails.
The only thing to worry about. Is she active and thriving? Is she happy? Have there been any severe mood changes that don't go away? If not, she is fine!
Good luck.

Her teeth could be a factor and all you can do is comfort her until her molars come in. Rubbing them, cold wash cloth to bite on, or just gumming a teether will help. I also found (being a mother of 4) that children as they grow will have heavy eating days and somedays they just seem to want nothing. 11 months? She might be having a growth spirt which causes the eating change. Good luck & God Bless!

Give her softer foods. If she keeps this up for 5 days straight, call her Doctor immediately and tell her she hasn't eatten for so many days. She might already be in medical danger at that point though. Remember 7 is supposedly the point for adults but some people can go weeks and some people can only make it 4 days.

Try to give her milk and milk shakes or milk substitute if you decide you'll just keep trying to give her food some how. There are milk products that have vitamins and minerals, but don't plan to make this permenante,... keep trying to get her to eat things labled food and if you can't get her to eat a meal give her a nuterional drink substitute.

And remember that acidic things like Juices and Baby Foods and Fruit are going to hurt more.

My own kids have gone through many stages of being huge eaters and then hardly eating at all. It is most likely due to the molars as that is very uncomfortable for her. Our doctor says that as long as she is getting enough milk and water, she will be fine.

Also, putting applesauce or stage one pears in the fridge feels good on those sore gums. Good luck!
