u better share yr feelings & thoughts w/yr child b 4 it gets out of hand & they become real close where u r not able 2 communicate yr feelings 2 him or her. that person who they r dating is a real JERK!!! remember blood is thicker than mud!!! say yr peace (piece) & then walk away & watch yr child make the right move eventually. b patient & give it time. it may take longer than u want but they will separate.

Oh my GOD!!! If my daughter dated anyone that I've dated, first of all that would make him at least 20 years older than her, but even outside of that, I'm a firm beleiver that you don't ever go where someone you really care about has already been. Nothing good could come from it. I've always had that rule with my friends and it would be even more strict for my children!!

Hmmm....that's weird...I guess it's your son/daughter's decision. Why did you and that person stop dating? Does your son/daughter know that you dated this person?

I think that would be really weird and slightly uncomfortable. I'd talk to my son or daughter and ask that they not tell me any intimate details!
