The reason I ask this question is because I want to start dating and making more guy friends so I was wondering how to appear more approachable?
I am very sweet, kind, loving and fun to be around with. I'm not rude and I like to say hi to everyone I see.
If you have speech impediment would that scare guys off?

I should be the last one to speak on this but, don't speak to everyone, just smile or give a long gaze.
Speech impediments shouldn't scare off real men.
And if you are as sweet and approachable as you say you are which I am sure is true, dear, you should have no problems. Just dont swing at every pitch

number two: after reading your recent questions im figuring your quite gentle, but sensitive about your speech impediment. my best advice for you is to make freinds with gentle guys first. although any real man should not judge you for anything on the outside it might happen. quiet guys usually are just too scared to talk to girls and i would advise getting to know one of these. they will be more than thrilled to talk to you no matter what. i know i would.
you sound like a very honest and caring person. that should make you attractive to any guy regardless of anything else. you should try to speak to guys. be confident. dont let your impediment be a crutch. infact, guys will only notice it (no matter how severe) if you pay attention to it yourself.
im not sure how helpful this is but thats what i would do anyway.

My only suggestion is to spend lots of time around him, and be interested in what says.
And no, speech problems won't scare guys unless they're really bad. Guys tend to be scared by girls that are superior to them in every way. Speech difficulties only assure them that you're human.

Just go to him and say Hi my name is.... want to be my guy friend or start a arguement but nothing serious and end up with each others phone numbers at the end. Winking works to.

you cant show signs that you are attracted to him by showing him signs because he may not be sure if you are just being friendly but if you have to always look at him in the eyes and smile thats shows your friendly side
