Any ideas for using houmous?

I love houmous! I usually have it with pitta bread and vegetables. Sometimes I use it in sandwiches instead of butter. Does anyone have any other ideas for it's use?

mush up an avocado with lots of lemon, some paprika and lots of black pepper. Toast a wholemeal pitta, slice in half and squash in the avocado stuff and a whole load of humous - delicious and easy supper

Take some sesame tahina and add s&p, chopped garlic, lemon juice, and a little water to thin to the consistensy of toothpaste. Spread this over the humus on toasted pita w/ a little dollup of plain yogurt.....real tasty!

Hummus???? It is great on pita bread and rolled up on a tortilla. You can also try toasting a pizza crust with olive oil brushed on it seasoned with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and mozzarella cheese. Bake it until it is brown and bubbly. Slice and put some hummus on it while hot. Delish!!!!

Still a sandwich, but a good one. Spread a generous amount on a couple of slices of wholegrain bread, and add tomatoes -- and, possibly, sprouts and cucumber, but the tomato's key...

Personally I like it plane and simple with pitta bread.

However, occassionally I get a bit adverturous and have it spread on a wrap with fresh spinach.

I had it for lunch today! Dipped tortilla chips into humous and then into spicy salsa and then into sour cream, delectable! A bit messy, but worth it xxx

try freezing it in the shape of a popsicle
be sure to do so in a sterilized freezer the hoummus will absorb adors like mad

My husband loves to add in paprika and lemon/lime juice. Have it with pita bread or nachos. Yum yum........

it's good in combination with cucumber maybe julienne the cucumber and serve it as a dip
