A. Learn to count cards. This is the only way to win money in games vs the House, otherwise their advantage will eventually make you a loser.

B. Learn poker. Poker is a game where since you play against others in casinos or online you can build your own advantage by knowing how to play better than they do.

C. Play bonuses online. Sites like http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com list bonuses you can clear in casinos and poker rooms online which if you clear the bonus and cash out you can make some extra cash, then move onto the next bonus.

don't go.
Casinos are a rip-off
especially with the new slips of paper issued instead of coins. Machines are programmed and odds are programmed according to certain parameters which are I believe over 90% in favour of the casinos not the other way around. If you insert a slip of paper with $5.00 worth of credits, it knows that's all you're going to be playing and it won't give you anything back, maybe 0.50 at the most.
I just don't go, well maybe once a year but that's it.
My advice in this day and age is save, save, save and don't buy on credit.

Well, first of all, you have to win. But the key is that if you win, you gotta get up and go. If not, you'll give it all back.
