10 punds the healthy way will take at least 3 months. I don't know if you consider that quickly. The best way to lose weight is to do a cardio workout, and eat about 5 times a day, small meals. Eat a little less than half of what you eat per meal now for each of 5 meals. It will up your metabolism, so will drinking grean tea about 30 minutes before you eat. As far as cardio goes, run for at least 20 minutes a day, and at least once a week either run 40 minutes or 4 miles. Trust me, you will lose the weight, and you will be healthy, just a little tired at first, until you get use to the schedule and the cardio.

Losing weight fast isn't good because after the diet you get all the kilos (or pounds) you have lost and also more. The best thing to do is to lose between 0.5 and 2 kilos a week (translated into pounds, between 1 and 4 pounds a week).
You should eat correctly and practice sport.

Hi Jennie!
Your best bet is to target 1-2 pounds/wk. This is considered a healthy rate of weight loss. You should start by keeping your calories to 1500 per day and then try to stay active. Increase your water intake also. If you do this, you should start to see results within the week.
I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.
Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

type "weight loss" or "lose weight fast" in the search box, then click search. You will see that this question gets asked hundreds if not thousands of times per day here. There has been plenty of good (and bad) advice given on this subject. Here's a hint.... limit your calories to less than you burn each day.
