I don't know how long u have been together (that would make it easier to answer) but there could be many reasons she is saying this. She may be scared of her feelings and want to take a step back and make sure she is doing the right thing, she may be getting pressure from friends or family to slow down, or she may just be unsure if she wants that serious of a relationship. But no matter what her reasoning's u must give her the space. If u don't give u space she may just simply leave altogether. If she wants space just to get her feelings in order and really think about her future then there is nothing wrong with that, but if she wants space to date others and test out her other options then I would move on, because this is someone who is not ready to commit. Alot of time space makes the person realize they don't want to be without u and it will make them miss u and want u even more, if it turns out the opposite then u are better to find that out now and not later, so in the end its a win/win situation for u.

Okay, now she needs her space. That could mean many many things! If it's a relationship that you would like to keep, give her a little space. Ask her how long she needs. Sometimes, little things happen and she needs a day or two. Did you two have a fight? Did something bad happen in her life? Ask her to talk about it a little more just so YOU understand. If she cares about you, then she should be a little more communicative about this...If she is not willng to communicate, give her some time and then try again. It might be that she has found someone else, but I don't know that, you didn't give all that much information. When you are done giving her space, try to talk it out. It might not be easy for her to talk about things.

I hope this isn't going to be news to you, but your girlfriend has grown tired of you. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings, but trust me she isn't into you that much anymore. Any one who is all about you and then suddenly needs space has met someone else. Sounds like she wants to see if it's going to amount to anything with this new person and wants to leave you alone for a while. My advice to you is to move on. Allow her to have her space and tell her you have decided that you wants yours as well. If she truely loves you, she will come back....if not, then good luck with the next girl.

Sometimes women can be alot like men in this way. They don't appreciate what they've got or outgrow the comfort of a lengthy relationship. Give her space, but be open minded enough to realize with space, there comes ooportunities!

You would be better off without her. Give her the space she needs, about a million miles, and make sure she never finds her way back!

Be happy, you deserve it.

Your probably slowly being replaced or she just want space and you need to respect that. But when a person say they need space there's a problem somewhere and it's up to you to figure out what is or what you've done.

Needs space = cheating or about to cheat. Unless you are smothering her. But I think the former. Keep an eye out dude.

Give her the space she needs. If and when she comes crawling back to you, slam the door in her face. No one in love "needs space". That's the biggest cop out in the world. It's easier to say that than to say you want out of the relationship.
