Would you consider amputation? Because that's the only way you're going to lose weight fast. You didn't gain it overnight and you're not going to lose it overnight. Get on a low calorie diet with a good exercise plan. Limit your calories to 1500 to 1800 per day but be sure to get some good nutrition in there and go out and exercise moderately for 30 minutes a day. You should be able to lose about a 20 pounds a month this way.

in the first place you should not plan on losing weight fast.you didnt put on weight fast either.
losing weight is a matter of burning accumulated fat and consuming less calories. remember 3500 calories equal one pound .
start by burning 500 calories daily by exercise and consuming 500 calories less daily. that makes a difference of 1000 calories perday which means you will lose 1 lb every 4th day .(3 1/2 days to be correct). but this is as fast as one should loose weight.at this rate additional lbs will stay away as well.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Simply take in less calories/energy from food & drink than what your body uses up each day so your left with an energy defecit which your body needs to make up some how so it uses up fat supplies.
If you want to loose weight faster you can but it's not healthy as at first your body uses water and then down the line muscle tissue whilst its using fat reserves.
I done it with strict discipline by not eating for hours and then eating very little of low energy food like veg, chicken etc and only drinking water, whilst all the time exercising constantly to burn up more energy that I wasnt taking in. This is not recommended but it works.
Cardiovascular exercise will burn fat quicker but carry on with strength training because muscles at rest burn more energy to maintain them.

You need to channel your passion to controlling your calories to 1500 calories per day and then stay active. If you say that you will do anything, do this because it works. If you stick to this, you should see results within the week.

Nothing else is needed for you at this point in your quest. Finding someone knowledgeable to encourage you can definitely help as well.

I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.

Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.

I looked the link but I don't agree. Avoiding milk at breakfast is something stupid. I'm Italian and I know an old Italian proverb which says: "Have breakfast like a king, have lunch like a prince and have dinner like a poor". You have to eat much at breakfast, something less at lunch and even less at dinner.
And you have to work out of course.
