You know how good friends pat each other on the back or punch each other on the shoulder? Well, it's like that, but about 20 times harder. And longer. And they slap them in the face and punch them in the groin. But aside from that, it's all friendly.

As far as healthcare goes...I work in a US military hospital in Iraq. The Iraqis here get the same standard of care as US troops, no matter if they are Iraqi civilian, iraqi police/military, or iraqi insurgents. Hope that answers part of your question :)

Prisoners in US custody are treated in accordance with the Laws and Customs of War (most people call these the Geneva Conventions but the Geneva Conventions are just a part of the rules of war).

This includes the prisoners at Gitmo.

(Just because we do not acknowledge them as POWs does not mean that we are mistreating them.)

We're not friendly...I can say that much. But I worked in a TIF and I can tell you that we don't go around beating on prisoners for no reason. We don't strip them and make them get in a pile.
We're harsh. We don't trust them. And generally speaking we don't like them. But the terms of the Geneva Convention are posted everywhere. We make sure they have food and water and showers. When they're bad they get punished accordingly( isolation, loss of privileges) And if they're good and keep their area clean they get rewarded (cigarettes). It's like working in a day care where all the children are secretly planing to shank you.

The question to ask is" How would Iraqi soldiers treat US troops?"

They are treated quite well actually. They are afforded a lot better treatment then any other POW in any other war. But yes unfortunately the military has some bad apples who ruin our reputation.

If you are talking about potential terrorists (terrorists- arabs that want to hurt USA), then telling you how they are treated is a breach of national security!

But rest assured, they aren't tortured, they are just interrogated using force and discomfort as sticks.
