Yes, life can suck but it's also what we make of it. If your life sucks, do something about it. As for the in-law, either tell them to get lost, ask your spouse to tell them to get lost, or just learn to deal with it. You married into the family, you can't exactly ignore them forever.

I feel ya! Sometimes life does suck. The MIL thing I cannot help you with-if you are married-then thats something you will have to deal with until a divorce or until she passes away. Good luck.
