It depends on what you are quoting.

If you mean the one referred to guarding the Garden of Eden, it's a figure of speech, so noone can say for sure what it is. Suffice to say no man could get in there, even if he had a nuke.

No, it would be a sharp fiery sphere, because a weapon that points in all directions would resemble, geometrically, just that.

Regardless, that's a pretty cool weapon.
