My friend saw it in Germany, apparantly your glass is only filled three-quarters full and then you can top it up with cold beer at your table through a tube. That way your beer is always cold.
Does anyone have any more info about it, or maybe a web link?

Thanks

That really doesn't make any sense. They fill it up 3 quarters (what, with warm beer?). Then you put a quarter on top and this keeps it cold? What happens when you drink 1/2 the mug? Fill it back up with the tube? Sounds good for a never ending beer.

here is a good way to keep your beer cold
drink it.
Shut up at the bar and drink it.
if you have to worry about your beer getting warm in a bar or pub
you are talkimg to much or you are just cheep and you try to stretch a beer for two hour. maybe you should start drinking a big glass of ICE that will stay cold for a pretty long time.

wow, that's interesting. Hadn't heard of that. I did see and use the beerdong though; a frozen, dildo-shaped tube made of plastic, with a suction cup on the bottom.

Here, in South East Asia, we keep our beer bottle in a styrofoam "sleeve" container.
