Easy Chocolate Fudge
An easy and creamy fudge recipe, made with marshmallows, milk, chocolate chips, and other ingredients.
* 2 Tbsp butter
* 2/3 cup evaporated milk
* 1 2/3 cups sugar
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 2 cups miniature marshmallows
* 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Combine butter, milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla, and nuts. Beat for about 1 minute, or until marshmallows melt and mixture is thoroughly combined. Pour into an 8-inch square buttered pan and cool. Cut fudge into squares.

This one is so easy and people will love it and think you are a great cook! The marshmallow cream in jars has a recipie on there and it is great! Easy too. To help out on the measuring, the small jar makes one batch and the big jar makes two batches. Also, the reicpie calls for chocolate chips, and if you want to make a different flavor, just change the flavor of your chips! My entire family looks forward to my fudge at the holidays! Hope this works!

This is about as easy as it gets for really good fudge. I got the basic recipe from Rachael Ray's show
Five Minute Fudge
1 - 12 oz bag semisweet chocolate chips
9oz - (3/4 of a 12 oz bag) butterscotch chips
1 - 14 oz can condensed milk
1 - tsp vanilla extract
8oz - pecan pieces
8 inch cake pan greased with butter
Put chips and milk in pot on med heat. Stir until chips are melted and mixture is combined. Stir in vanilla remove from heat stir in nuts and immediately pile into cake pan leveling quickly with spatula. Chill an hour or two in refrigerator.
The easiest and best fudge in my opinion is the fantasy fudge recipe on the back of the marshmallow creme jar. You just pick whatever flavor baking chips you want (i.e., chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, or a combo of any) and voila... rich, creamy fudge.
It sounds like your mom used the recipe that comes on the back of the cocoa can. It's the Hershey's unsweetened baking cocoa. It's a lot more labor intensive but also real good.
