you can make your own. why does everyone think that you cannot do your own spells they honestly would mean a hell of alot more.

I don't think you can get one free on line. A true Book of Shadows should be created by your self. You can use others as a guideline for writing your own.

Scott Cunningham's Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner has his Book of Shadows in it at the very end.

You do have to pay for shipping & handling and it takes 3 - 4 weeks to receive these items. But they have many CD's that are free, herbalism, BOS, etc...
As for gaining a BOS for free just to have a BOS of your own, I would have to agree with spyder... you really should do it one of your own. It means a lot more when YOU do it, than just taking it all from someone else. Nothing wrong with getting ideas from another BOS though.
