A guy friend that I'm pretty good friends with asked if i wanted to sleep in his bed last night. I was in his house and it was kinda late and I had to go home. Does any guy ask a girl to sleep in his bed in a platonic way or was he hinting at something more? Help - very confused!

no need to be confused anymore as it was already over..

it could've meant 101 reasons...if he's really a good friend then maybe he's just worried about you going home so late..he offered you his bed and he'll probably sleep somewhere in the house...

now, granted it meant something physical...then you can just say no if you don't feel like it and then go home no matter how late..

so, the bottom line is....you can never know what he meant about it unless you were actually at the middle of that situation..

and oh, never assume anything as it will hurt badly if it doesn't go your way..

Trust me honey, he's hinting at something more. No man is going to ask you to sleep in his bed and not want to try anything. If he wasn't thinking about trying something with you he would have never asked you in the first place. He felt like he had the opportunity and he was going to take advantage of it if you were a willing participant.

There are some that want you to sleep with them in their bed in a platonic way, but more often than not they just want in your pants.

When I was younger I had a best friend that was a male. When we would be out drinking-whatever and it got late-there were times I slept in his bed and it was totally platonic. Depends on your friendship and the guy.

he was hinting at playing scrabble with you....DUH of course he was hinting at something more!!! the only way it would have been a platonic invitation would have been if he said..."you take the bed and i'll take the couch"...otherwise he wanted to hit the good stroke!

my guess is that he's basically relaxing and on the fringe of bypass to mattress. I txt whoever i'm at the instant drawn to until eventually now going to sleep regularly, im a woman yet nevertheless, basically because is when I can totally have a communique with them. except he confronts u with asking u to deliver him a %or says something needless to say sexual, I wouldnt take it that way.

Where was he planning on sleeping? If he was sleeping on the couch so you could have the bed, that's friendship. If he was planning to share the bed with you, that's more than friendship...he needed some.

Seriously, what do you think it means!? It might start of platonic, but it always ends up as sex. You should never have sex with friends. It doesn't work!!
