Baileys is a creamy whiskey based drink. Irish coffee is hot coffee with whiskey sugar and cream. Totally different things but both very yummy!

No. Bailey's is Irish whiskey mixed with cream & you can drink it as is chilled or mixed with something else. An Irish coffee is coffee mixed with Irish whiskey. You could mix coffee with Bailey's which tastes very good especially with the Bailey's mint flavor that is now on the market.

You could add Bailey's to coffee, but traditional Irish coffe has a regular whiskey like Jameson's added to the coffee, and then it is topped with whipped cream that floats on top.
