move any objects away from him...like chairs, tables, or anything that could fall and land on him. Do not stick your hands in his mouth and do not try to give him any food or water. The seizures should last anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes...let him finish and then try to move him. But be careful, some dogs will try to bite after seizure because they are disoriented. Once the dog is up and moving around again take him to the vet. He needs to be put on a medication to reduce seizures. Unless, your dog only gets them once every 3 months or so. Talk to your vet.

Check this site out for reducing the length of the seizure

Homeopaths suggest putting honey on the gums of a dog having a seizure to reduce the length of the seizure.
Do a search of the net on seizures and vaccinations. Vaccinations can be responsible for seizures. I have a nine yr old who has had seizures since the age of one. She started out having one seizure per yr. By the age of five, she was having 4 siezures per yr. I stopped all vaccinations for this dog. Over the past 2 yrs, she had only two seizures per yr. She just went 8 months before having a seizure.
Vaccinations are good for many yrs and so not need to be given annually. Some are saying now, that vaccinations are good for life. Here's a site from Wisconsin University

There is nothing you can do. Just watch him and make sure he doesn't hurt himself. You can get medications at the vet that would stop them.
