my cousin, who is also my housemate, is short changing me on groccery shopping money everytime she does the calculating. i know this coz i calculated it a few times before she did the calculating just to check. i dont know how to tell her..

the only solution i thought of was to salculate it before she does next time and ask her for money.

and i'm also always spending my money on her food without asking for money back. sigh.. feel so cheated.

If you want to continue on sharing the groceries then you both put 50 dollars toward groceries and do the shopping together. Or buy your own groceries and use a marker to put your name on your food items. Or you can designate a certain shelf in the fridge to each person. The same goes for the pantry. Each person has their own shelf or cabinet. And if someone has consumed something of yours ....Simply ask them to replace it.

SEPERATE the food!! I had the same thing happen with one of my old roommates, people do take advantage of nice people (you), so now you have to stand up for yourself. Buy your own, she buys hers or she goes hungry.

I actually had to fix a meal and leave her plate with only one thing out of 3 on it, when she asked why I said that's how much you paid for so that's how much you eat! She got the hint, and the BS stopped.

Don't buy food for the house.

You stop at a restraunt,
Let her worry her food

TELL HER YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR GETTING CHEATED SORRY IF IT HURTS YOUR FEELINGS BUT I WOULD RATHER DO SHOPPING FOR MYSELF AND YOU DO THE SAME OR JUST PUT HALF AND HALF ON THE FOOD BILL.
