Man is the true trinity. Spirit, Body and Soul. The spirit is our life it is the one that grows intelligently with progress and love. The body is what helps the spirit demonstrate life, the tangible part. The soul is the recorder attached to the spirit to record all demonstrations of life. At each lifetime the spirit forms a new body to help accomplish that particular mission. That is called reincarnation.
A perfect example would be electricity It needs grounding and something to show it is there. Without the grounding the light bulb would burst. When the bulb has done its function it is changed for a fresh start. The spirit being your positive, the soul your grounding, and the body your negative.
Life is eternal, meaning we are always progressing, the body dies but not our spirit. Peace and love to you all.

It does no longer scare me that souls would no longer exist. i develop into doing study on souls the different day about old souls, mature souls, youthful souls, and so on and reincarnation, yet that develop into only for relaxing. We were speaking about that some days in the past. basically lack of life and ceasing to exist isn't scary, both. actual, i might want to be better afraid or better scared if there extremely develop right into a Heaven and Hell. ( because then i might want to be going to Hell, lol ! ) notwithstanding, i do no longer position self belief in Heaven or Hell, so i'm no longer petrified of my soul burning in Hell for all eternity. yet i do no longer classify myself as an Atheist. i'm am Agnostic, because i do not trust contained in the Christian God ( or prepared faith. ) We do basically not understand the solutions. There would properly be a supernatural being or souls. yet there would no longer be both. we do not understand the actuality. we can in hardship-free words speculate. i imagine souls and soul a lengthy time period are very exciting, yet they're only concepts. i elect to play round with concepts. And yet another concept is they'd no longer exist in any respect.

As humans, we are trichotomists. We have a body, a soul & a spirit. The soul is composed of mind, will & emotion. Yes, we do continue to exist. We will have different, incorruptable, bodies with our soul & spirit. We will know & be known on a much higher plane of existance...in the spirit.

Man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. A person dies when his spirit leaves his body (James 2:26). The essence of man's being is his spirit which is immortal and is that part of him that comes from God Himself.

We are "made in his image" God is eternal, hence there is an element of us that is like God,,,Eternal. Yes this is your soul
And it will go in only one of two places on the hour that your heart stops beating away in your chest. The soul must leave the body on death, "remember him before the silver chord is severed...before the golden bowl is broke... before your spirit returns to the Lord who gave it" Ecclesiasties
What will God do with your spirit when you return to him?
That depends on what you have done with his Son Jesus while you were still alive.
Hmm, good question though, made me think.
thanks

The Bible says the soul dies.
Eze 18:4 Behold, all the souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Yes - our spirit continues eternally after the body has expired.
The Bible says it is appointed to man once to die.
Where our spirits spend eternity is the question... and the way to eternal life is through Jesus alone.

Yes, the soul and spirit leave the body, but some day a new body will be made for us and our soul and spirit will inhabit it.

OF course the soul continues to exist. That is why God gives us a choice of where we want to spend eternity. Heaven through acceptance of Jesus as your savior, or hell by way of refusing Jesus free gift of salvation.
