i have a boyfriend and he is 10 years older that me, we love each other a lot and you cannot even recognise if he is older than me or not because i am fat. the thing is my landlady is 10 years older than her boyfriend so i was wondering if age doesnt matter! i sometimes feel like people will be nasty at me when they find out the real age of my boyfriend. i am planning to introduce him to my parents as he already introduced me to his. do i have to tell my parents his age yet?

I am a woman with a man 10 yrs younger then myself, at first it was awkward. Anyway, people are quick to judge others when they don't even know the circumstances or know someones character. I have been with my guy 3 years and its been the best relationship I've ever had. If your parents are supportive of you, then it shouldn't matter your guys age. As long as he treats you right and makes you happy, thats what matters the most.

I was with an older man for a couple of years. We ended up with a child together, I was 19 when we met, he was 39. (We have since split up, and I assure you, the age gap had NOTHING to do with it!) Honey, if it's love, it doesn't matter what age you both are, you will be together! Love has no boundaries, so if you both are happy, to hell with what other people say. As long as you two look after each other, then good on you! You go girl!! Wishing you both all the best. (And yes, you should tell people how old he is, so what they think, it's none of their business anyway!!)

As long as you are both adults age does not matter at all and anyone who tells you different is wrong. I am 4yrs older then my husband and he has been the best thing ever to come into my life.. As long as there is love nothing else should matter. And the whole parent issues I think you should be honest with them about his age but that is up to you. If they cant accept him for what he is and over look his age then it's their problem not yours..

age doesn't matter. People are always going to talk, might as well give them something to talk about. you shouldn't care what other people say or what other people think, as long as you are happy. It only matters if your under aged like 15 and he's 35, then that definatley matters,but you are old enough to get at whatever you want.

My Great grandma used to say age is a state of mind,
I had to agree when she married a 60 YO guy who was 40 years her junior- I dont know why she married the old fart

Unless you are a minor, age doesn't matter. Knock your socks off and follow your heart (right in to the bedroom)! Take any criticism with a grain of salt and live "your" life "your" way, not others. Good luck! :o)

well it does matter if its like you are 15 or 16 and he is 21 or the or vice versa but if one is 31 and the other is 41 no it shouldn't matter what matters is ,love if you truly love each other then it could work

it is according on your age... if you are only 18 and he is 28 then yes it matters, you are too young to be dating someone that much older. however, with years comes experience so if you are 35 and him 45 you are old enough and wise enough to choose who to date.
