i have a bf....we are slowly getting to a break up....i am waiting for him to do it so he'd have closure...meanwhile, during this bout of patience, i started seeing another man....and one night....we finally kissed in the car....then did everything else...in the car... it was the most passionate experience i've ever had...i didn't even feel bad about it or regretful....the next day when i saw the bf...i had zero urge to tell him about it....i still haven't told him about it...we are breaking up tomorrow (it's just in a final stage)...should i spill the beans and tell him, or let him go easily...?

Let him off easy. It's enough that you're breaking up with him - you don't have to tell him that you've already found somebody else, who coincidentally gave you the best sex you've ever had. That's just mean.

Seeing as this relationship has ended and was "in the final stages". It serves no purpose to tell your ex that you did the deed with another guy before you technically broke up. He could just use that to humilate you or brag how bad of a girlfriend you were. I commend you and asking this question because most of the time telling the truth sets you free but this is one case where it would be best for both of you to go your seperate ways.

Hi,
Way to go on the new steam!!!
The car migh not have ben my first place of choice but if it was hot in the car, imagine what the bedroom would be like. :-)
Anyway, to answer your question, please don't tell him about it.
It might appear somewhat deceptive but you rightly pointed out that you were waiting for him to get closure.
If you do this, you'll open up a fresh can of worms and he'll drag on the break up and blame you for everything.
Please don't... you both know that the break up was for the best.
Don't give him another reason to blame you!

Personally, I don't think you should. If like him spare him the hurt and let him go easily. I am curious though, did the two of you actually set a date for breaking up?

Let Him Go Easily! Always part friends. In jobs, in relationships, everything. You always run into these people later. Or friends of their friends. Keep it clean and neat. No regrets anywhere.

No, I wouldn't tell him.You are going to break up anyway and telling him would not give him closure as you said you want him to have. There is no point in hurting him. What is your real motive for wanting to tell him?

I don't understand this 'slow break-up' and the fact that you know that you are breaking up tomorrow...that is just really odd to me. Don;t tell him..I think that if you do you are just being cruel (crueler than dragging out a dead relationship for god knows why)

What purpose would it serve to hurt the man one step farther while breaking up with him?

Sounds like he will be better off without you.

let him go easily, there's no reason to tell him that, the fact that your breaking up is most likely tough enogh, he doesn't need to know that you are getting boned by another guy

If you want to break up why are you telling him what you did. Sounds like to me you like hurting people . That's not nice!
