LOL... Oh my God... that is to funny.
It is so true. I don't think ape babies cry out like humans do, and they are... you know the most liken to us.

Animals in the wild keep quiet because if their predators hear them they could DIE!

I guess it just goes to show how full of our selves we can be, even at birth.

But not all babies cry like that, some are very quiet, happy babies. I think it has to be the parenting. Of course mothers love their children, but that doesn't mean they understand them. If you were trying to communicate some need to someone and could not use words, spoken or written and that person didn't understand what you wanted wouldn't you be so frustrated that you would cry out loud?

And yes, I also think human babies are ugly. I don't understand why strangers like to pester people over their babies, cooing and oohing. And though I have seen a few cute ones I don't want to touch them, I don't want them near me. I do want children of my own, and I'm confident I won't feel this way about my own. As well they grow out of that ugly phase and hopefully they won't be screamers.

;)

Oh and I wouldn't call the parents selfish, just stupid.

...perhaps the banshee-like shrieks scare the poop out of predators. Hey! Maybe that's it! I just went back and read the rest of it - very funny food for thought.

The vote has nothing to do with "ugly little crying babies." Parenting has nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican. Maybe post this site in Government and Politics. Okay the first site listed directed me to a Democrat sight.

Get over it buddy. Your mother probably exposed your "ugly little crying" face out in public when you were younger. I make a point to keep my son quiet--but sometimes babies do cry. It's the way I was as a baby, the way YOU were when you were a baby, and the way everyone is when they're a baby.

I think u are selfish and ugly yourself. Our baby doesn't get much crying time in public- we just don't let him cry and take care of whatever he needs. He actually is always happy to be out in public- loves looking at new things. And second, my baby is one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen- even the doctors said so. : P

I wasn't going to answer this but have too.!
1.Your suggestion of "Ugly Little Crying Babies" well that appalls me as there are no ugly babies.

2.Babies cry for a reason, ie. wet, hungry, tired, sick, or hurt.

3.And your reference to exposing them, well my friend they aren't a disease, they are a new beautiful human life that 2 people (hopefully not including yourself one day) brought into this world.

Babies are to be loved cherished and it appears you weren't as your suggestions say that in as so many words. I would not even try that link as I totally and wholeheartedly disagree with your immature and rather hateful question.I hope you really look at this and apologies and hopefully "THINK" before ever asking such a dreadful question again.

If I was a parent I would try to respect other people and try to not annoy them too much. For example, I would avoid bringing children under a certain age on airplanes, where the other passengers can't go anywhere to escape the nerve-breaking cry of the babies.

Babies can't help crying. I'm sure you were a crying baby once too. I know that when my baby cries in public I feel really bad about it. No parent likes to have their baby cry in public. I do remove my baby from the situation and/or try to redirect his crying.

There's a circle of life. Babies are part of it and babies do cry. I would try to open your heart to compassion for all people, including "ugly little crying babies."

that was relatively amusing to read. i love my own children and can find joy in others, but i still found the link funny. when we sit in a comedy show we laugh at ourselves as humans, e.g fat people , pms woman , bald men etc.. so why not laugh at this too?

I understand why parents don't give into their childrens tantrums , but have also seen the odd parent who seems to enjoy letting them whale and having a look around to dare someone to speak up. the worst I have seen is a loudmouthed parent shouting at a child in a pushchair who wasn't even doing anything.

removed the .... from the link and it works!!
very cool and I agree, airlines should definitely make the suggested improvements. If people make a decision to have a screaming baby in their lives why should I have to suffer on a long haul flight. Cute? all babies are ugly and look the same.

Some people believe, in accordance with the "old school" of pediatricians, to let them "cry it out". People like that don't care where they do it. I think you have to allow a baby to cry to a point, no matter where it is..."grand standing" is another matter. Good grief!

yet another libbed-out attack on the sanctity of human life. human beings are worth less than garbage and we should worship cute, fuzzy little creatures. i think maybe you're right, most people are afraid to admit that they agree with you. not because they'd ever want to but because "freedom" demands that they do. oh, they'd never put it in the context you share with us but every intolerable thought, standing in the checkout line at target, perhaps, listening to the shrill squeals of a baby. perhaps we should put the undesirables (anyone but suri) in a room to die of neglect, like china. or perhaps we're on our way to a less vicious looking form of euthanasia. why bother illegalizing stabbing skulls with scissors in some partial-birth second guess? oh, wait, that's too inhumane. i have a solution for you. why don't YOU quit leaving the house.
