I remember seeing somthing on tv about a place that did treatments to lighten those areas. Other than that a cream with Hydroquinone - Spelling? should be effective over time. I asked my doctor about that too and he said it may be caused by friction, genes, or some kind of imbalance. I have heard of people finding remedy in doing a toxin flush like a kidney or liver flush. You wuld have to research that yourself.
