Next time you're about to let someone into your lane, and they haven't acknowledged you, speed up slightly as they're entering, causing a collision. No witnesses, they get points for driving w/o due care, you get "whiplash" and a foreign holiday.
For about an extra grand compy, lose bladder control before the ambulance attends.

Oh - it's soooo annoying. I live in the country and it often happens in little country lanes and the arrogance of some drivers has to be seen to be believed. I think sitting a person behind a driving wheel is like a window to the character/soul beneath - you really get to find out if they are a selfish and inconsiderate sod or if they are actually rather pleasant with nice manners!! Rant, fume, rant! Death seems a bit harsh - after all there can be incidents of people simply having a bad day when they are normally quite nice. I think that we need to rely on karma in these instances - or alternatively, block their route, drag them from their car , pin them to the outside of their car and explain how the little word 'thank you' can make a great difference to a persons day!

That is such bad manners and so rude, I don't drive myself but when I'm out in the car with my hubby who is always the gentleman and lets the other car go first its surprising how many people just drive on without even a glance in your direction, I am not a person who believes in violence but some of these bad mannered drivers could quiet easily have me changing my mind, I sometimes wave at others drivers who let us out or through small spaces to save my hubby having to, its just courtesy and costs nothing, ban them all I say and the sooner the better.

I usually try do the little hand wave, but I'm still learning to drive so I usually have the steering wheel in a death grip.
It also depends where you go. I've been to areas where every car you pass, the driver and maybe their passenger gives you a smile and a wave. You cross over the state border, and no one even smiles.

I'm absolutely terrified by most of these answers [even if they have made me laugh!]
I always [without exception] gesture thank you with a smile when another driver shows courtesy.
You will probably find that those, like me, who do acknowledge road manners, are those who were not dragged up and were trained in manners. I still open doors, give up my seat, offer to help, say thank you, please and excuse me - and I'm a boring old **art myself!!
I think Yahoo Q&A should start logging the people who report all 'Abuse' and 'Violation' claims - then they would be able to identify those who are set on destroying Yahoo Q&A. - MESSAGE TO ABUSE REPORTER:report this for abuse and get your identity logged as a 'Yahoo Negative Poster' on YOUR records. You deserve it.

10 Lashes in the local town square would suffice. What really annoys me is the lorry drivers that keep overtaking eachother on motorways and A roads. I was stuck behind two lorries on an A road. They kept taking over eachother, leapfrogging if you will, for about 10 miles! Nobody could get past! the instant one had overtaken, the other pulled out! Unbelieveable! They should be hung, drawn and quartered!

Its not just drivers, this rudeness is prevalent across society. I work in a customer facing job, and more people than not just walk away once I have answered their query, without a word of thanks.
I've always put it down to the fact that most people just can't resist kidding themselves that they are somehow better than everyone else, so why should they thank us lowly scum.

I let someone out of my own road onto the main road the other day, no acknowledgement, no thank you nothing.
That's the last time I let them out, they're one of my neighbours so I know the car, ignorant shi*s.
