I am experienced with online relationship. My current fiance and I met online. We spent a year of mostly online and long distance. Then I moved to where he lives and we are now engaged and will be married in February. We have been together over a year now and it was awesome to fall in love with his heart and not just to fall for a pretty face! I know online relationships can blossom into real face to face relationships. It may not be easy at times because of the separation but it was so worth it!

Yes. I met this amazing man when i went on holiday some years ago, and we just couldn't help ourselves it was...no i wont say love at first sight, but of lust...he found me to be the woman he was looking for i thought the same about him...we enjoyed each other to the full, not just sexually, but walking along the beaches in the evenings, and many other exciting things....i thought no matter what when i return back home that i will make this relationship work, but after years of making plans writing so many letters, of how we felt about each other....with time i couldn't bear not being with him, and the same with him.....we knew because of our situation that we still had lives to live...and celibacy, until we met again, was way too long, and waiting for the day to be together, seemed like years away.....eventually i stopped writing, and he continued, but i just couldn't do it to the both of us it was not fair, so that's how that relationship ended.....the long, and short of it is that long distance relationships do not really work....it's the distance that becomes a real problem. As for on line relationships i wouldn't even go there, something always gets in the way in the end, to meet someone face to face you at least get to know there good, and bad points properly, without the possibility of being deceived.

Well I met alot of jerks when I online dated. You must remember that the net is like a candy shop for men and they are usually not faithfull or on several different dating sites at once. I did marry someone I met off of the net, but I would strongly recommend you don't do that. As far as long distance relationships-I don't think they ever work out well in the end.

I think it depends on the distance and the circumstances. I'm sort of in a online long distance relationship and because of his background and the way my family feels about it, I know nothing will happen with us. There are all sorts of circumstances in whether or not a relationship will work wheter its online, long distance or your next door neighbour. I think you both need to decide how badly you want it to work out and if that's even a possiblility and then take it from there. Best of luck!

I started out in an online relationship. He lives overseas. I went there this past summer and we got married. It was a wonderful experience. The down side is all the waiting to see if he will be approved for a visa, and not being able to wake in each others arms. But I feel he is worth it.

my relationship didn´t start as an on-line relationship, we just happened to be from 2 different countries and were too young to leave studies etc to live together (we were 16 and 17) .....15 years have passed and we have been married for 3 years.....so it can work out....you just need to believe in the relationship....
