It's a fair assumption that you are not an American! The nearest thing to eating whole fish I have ever come is eating canned sardines and they have ben scaled and the heads removed! I assume you are kidding about jellyfish. I would not consider eating eel if I knew what it was.

Eel is delicious! It can be eaten fried, poached, stewed or even as sushi. My favorite is smoked eel!
