Hell yes, it is possible to be a sleeping friend, just like a doormat and anything else you want to call it. You have really been played like a violin !! Big Time !! You should thank your lucky stars. he has left the country, believe me he has done you a big favour. He obviously doesn't want you to contact him at all, and be honest WHY would you want to. This guy is a creep. Good riddance to bad rubbish l say. Better luck with your next boyfriend.

my darling,
your tale is a sad one indeed, and unfortunately extremely common. you have but three options:
1-you remain in turmoil waiting loyally for someone who wasn't even loyal enough to commit.
2-you meet other people and if this man comes back into the picture, you make your decision then.
3-you completely move on, it sounds like this man has used you and left with the purpose of avoiding your contact-he doesn't deserve your loyalty one bit.

option 3 seems the most appealing, but decisions like this are extremely personal. there is no point listening to people demanding you to move on immediately if you dont want to. you have to ask yourself what you truly believe this man would do for you, and whether you are willing to make the neccessary sacrifices in your life to wait on an improbable outcome.

sadly, there is one illuminating fact: if he has your details and your numbers, and he is not getting in contact with you, then it seems as though he had moved on.

people may say that dwelling on apast relationship is wrong, but i know from personal experience that it is damaging not to.

i think you should sort things out in your own mind before you fully move on, and try to find a way to avoid a similar secenario.

all the best, and all my love,
dr chippy

Hi don't consider him your boyfriend, he was just using you. Yes it is possible to be just sleeping-friends, bed-buddies. When he called what did you do, besides having sex what else did you do. Did he ever hold you hand in public, if you answered yes to most of these then you need to move on. Please be honest with yourself OK, just accept it. Who knows where he went, he's going to marry someone else? Sorry girl!

Hell no! Sorry to inform you, but it sounds like you got used. And what the hell is a 'sleeping friend'? Where I'm from, we call it a "f*ck buddy". You were only there to f*ck and that's it. Nothing more. You need to accept it and move on with your life. You will not hear from him again.

He has told you you are not his girlfriend but Simone he sleeps with. Get real he is unlikely to come back into your life any way would you want him back or would you like to get on with your life and meet someone who is genuine and there for you ?

You will meet someone else as long as you respect your self and aim higher with your relationships

If he doesn't want to be called your boyfriend and just wants to be "sleeping friends" that means you're just a booty call. Don't wait, move on!

Simple...If he's giving you what you want...you can be sure he's getting what he wants from you.

It's not love, it's sex.

Don't figure on a long term relationship like marriage. Forget it!

As long as he keeps on getting...he'll be happy. Are you or will you be happy? It won't be with you.

Up to you! Good luck in your future relationships

If he says that you're sleeping friends, then what is there to wait for?

If he does not consider you his girlfirend move on and get a better friend. I might say that he was in my own term Using you, If he can't respond to you, in any way decently please be considerate of your own heart. Find someone that is worth being with. This guy is not worth it.
