i am 18 and pregnant, and i dont think it matters how old people are when they fall pregnant because older people can cope just aswell as young people! i wish that it didnt happen at this stage of my life but these things happen and i no im not going to regret it!!!

I had my first Daughter at the age of 18(only just turned 18) My Daughter is now 10, and i have 2 more Daughters now 3 and 1. I of course don't regret having my eldest Daughter, only the man i had her with!! I was too young to choose the right Father, this is a really big thing and stays with you forever. And can be a big problem in later life.........I do think i missed out on things having a baby young, but i am still young enough to live my life with my girls. I would say it depends on each person and what you want out of life.I would say for me mid to late 20's is quite a good age that is when i had my other two, you know yourself a bit better by then !!

I was 40 when I had my son, followed 8 months later with a miscarrage. He is now 10 so I wont be having any more. I waited years for him, I am just not very fertile.
I thought I knew it all, I had been a childrens nannie for 11 years but when he arrived it was a whole new ball game. I was lucky in that he was a good baby..until he was 10 months old and discovered walking......since then its been hard as he is lively to say the least and I am now disabled with chronic athritus.

I was nineteen when I had Alex I managed very well. I look at it that I do a fantastic job bringing him up and that is the main thing I can love him and provide for him with the help of his father my fiancee. I feel I have started my family from a young age and its nice to be a young healthy mum. When my friends start to have a family I am all ready up the ladder so I will still be young when they have grown up while my friends will be behind me I can restart my life while there in with the kids . So at the moment I dont have much of a social life n my friends do but the clock will change. I have all the fun and love I need in my family life love it.

I had my 1st at 19, he is now 9 and i dont regret the timing for a second.
He has enriched my life and i love him so much.
Saying this i wouldnt go and say that you should get pregnant so young, you should be sensible and wait until the time really is right.
I am now almost 29 and i am happily married and also have a 4 year old son too (who is off school today poorly - bless him!!)

I was 24 when I had my first and only child.............

Yes I coped OK but it was a big culture shock as I was used to doing what I liked and going where I liked and having a new baby put a stop to all this....but evetually I adapted to motherhood and if I do say so myself became quite good at it!!!!!

My babe is almost 6 now and she is fab!!!

No, wouldn't change it for the world!

I was 26 and thought it might be abit late, but i was so glad i had waited, it it a real big adjustment to your life, its hard and its exhausting, but the biggest acheivement and the happiest time of my life. It would have been so much harder at a younger age. But my sister had her first at 20 and coped brilliantly. I suppose you don't have an option and cope day to day regardless of age.

I was 23 and still feels it was the perfect time, though I sometimes felt I should have waited 'till 27. It's kinda mixed felings but I couldn't change a thing. He is now 7 and I had his brother at 28.
