Can anyway tell me if taking daily vitamin and mineral pills interferes with GI diet? Thanks.

No, multivitamins & minerals has no negative effect on GI diet. I don't have information to cite for you, but I can tell you that with confidence. In fact multivitamins & water will speed up weight loss as they will enhance the biochemistry reactions of your body (metabolism). Think of multivitamins as catalysts & water as a media for these reactions.
