there is simple rule of thumb to find out ideal weight.
106 lbs for 5 feet . then 6 lbs for every inch ( for males) .
105 lbs for 5 ft and then 5 lbs for every inch (females).
so if you are a male: 106 + 6x6= 142 lbs
if female : 105 + 5X6= 135

As far as weight itself is concerned, I would say that you are close enough to call it "ideal", but there is more to it than that. My ex is 5'7" and 130 lbs. Problem is that she is just slightly light on the top ( to meet the current general "ideal", but not for me) and slightly heavy on the bottom (for me, but not the current general "ideal"). Therein lies the crux of this problem. Different people see different distribution/size as "ideal". For instance, it seems that in general big butts (with the attendant big thighs) are the thing these days (and in the not too distant past - from sometime, perhaps always, before the turn of the 20th century - think bustles - into the fifties), but personal preference is always going to vary, no matter the current concept of the "ideal". Selective body building is always helpful. The best way to think of body building, IMO, is that it is about getting your physical attributes in balance - not "bulking up", or reducing, in general (a common misunderstanding by many), but selectively. Anyway, the more important thing is the person residing inside . . .
