If there's a connection, there's a connection! It doesn't matter the age difference, or who's older.
Personally, i have a preference for older men - i like the whole 'being protected' thing and somehow i can't really see a younger man offering as much comfort!
But to each her/his own - it all depends on what you want out of the relationship, and whether the other person is ready and able to give it to you.
Maybe ask yourself what the younger man wants from you? If you can tell he's serious about the relationship and not just wanting a "trophy older woman", then by all means :)

Well, I can't quite get to 10 yrs younger, but two have been 7 yrs younger. They haven't played games. They like the same things I like etc. If they want to date you and you're older, it obviously isn't an issue for them so just be yourself!
Just went back and saw that you added the ages. Now, is he still in college, have a career already, live on his own, etc? Those are things you may want to take into consideration. It's not the 10 yrs that makes a difference, in your case it's where the 10 yrs falls.

If the guy was 1 or 2 yrs younger then me I'd had no issues with it but if he was 10 yrs or over younger then me it would be like me as college student dating a 10th grade kid who's brain n his way of thinking is far different then my age n my generation. So, yes age sometimes is not only a number.

i'm in a relationship with a guy 10 years youthful. i'm 40 3 years old. contained in the previous that I dated someone 11 years youthful. To me age is only a huge decision after concerning to the age of 30 for both in contact. the important important project you face is the youngster project. My toddlers are 16 to 19 years old. i in my opinion am not fascinated in that decrease decrease back. you're able to wish to ask the toddler chance question early and be particular even if it really is a deal breaker. If it quite isn't any longer, I see no project with age. It hasn't been for me.

Perfectly acceptable, heck men have done it forever!
I recently met a man who is nine years younger than I. He actually approached me first and we've become wonderful friends and so on. In the short time we've dated, age has never been an issue for us.
We have many things in common, ie: attitude, humor, spirituality, family and friends.
At the end of the day age does not matter. Compatibility, mutual respect, and character should be the main focus. (In my opinion)
Good luck!

Each and every person is different, regardless of their age. I've seen some men who are 40 act like they are 19, and I've seen some 20 year old guys who you'd swear had the mentality of a 50 year old! If you two have feelings for each other, then go for it! Age doesn't matter. (small note: there's a percentage of guys who will play games and be undecided no matter what age they are)

I always feel women should be the older one in a marriage...
Men are never mature, and thinks of nothing else other than the bed..
while woman handle situations better at the same age...
So marrying a younger man is a very good idea...
The only issue is the woman should work harder to keep her man interested in her always....

well my oldest experience was when I was 28 she was 58. She would like to say that the relationship ended because she was older, but the fact of the matter is I ended it because she lied about her age for fear of me leaving. And I'm well aware that if she lies about that over petty little vanities she'll lie about anything(which has proven true since). The age difference wasn't the issue for me, the lieing was. Just take it slow and feel him out. Just like any other realtionship I suppose. good luck.

My husband is 14 years younger than me. No one ever thought it would work, even us because of our age difference. We had a little trouble with him being a little immature in the first few years but he has bloomed into a great husband, step father and grandfather. Don't be afraid of age. It's just a number.

I was 31 and my guy was 21 when we met, we instanly hit it off. He showed me alot of character when he found out I had 4 kids and couldn't have anymore and still wanted to carry on with the relationship. It really depends on your guy and how he treats you and your family if you have one. Mine tells me I am beautiful, sexy, and hot everyday and has for 3 yrs now. Good luck to you.
