I am buying a new flat and due to the proximity of the flat to the road / pavement i would like to purchase the film that makes your windows reflective - like one way mirrors - so i can see out but people can't see in.

anybody got any ideas where i could get this from?

I bought a roll approx 1m x 3m from Motorworld at a cost of £14. Pretty easy to apply, cut film to approx size, clean windows, then spray with soapy water and put the film on, trim excess - lot cheaper than getting a firm in.

Yeah, okay this was funny the first couple of hundred times that I saw this, but the joke's beginning to wear a little thin. The thing is you can actually convert you monitor into a mirror with a webcam and a bit of software. Not quite as funny, but true.

Do you have a Home Depot or a Lowes? I was just there but, it's expensive. It'll run about $30.00 for a three by six foot piece. Good luck
