AVI or MPEGs are the main ones to look out for, they usually always work. The size of a film should be around 700mb and 300(ish)mb for programme episodes

APART FROM THE FACT DOWNLOADING MOVIES FROM ANY FREE P2P NETWORK IS ILLEGAL. most people will shrink a movie down to around 4.7 gb(to fit on a dvd5) but they may do it in mpeg or other format in which case it will vary, but generally movies will be up into the 1000s of megabytes at least.... if it says kilobytes then it's either not what it says or worse a VIRUS! another rule is to not to download any E.X.E files as they will run as soon as they get onto your system(usually virus, trojan etc.) and SCAN EVERYTHING you download before even thinking about opening it by right clicking it and select "scan using...(whichever antivirus you have installed) hope this helps you. ps: ten points would be nice!!!

700MB is normal - this is likely to be a film, to fit on a CD (so you can store the file on the CD, and possibly play it with a compatible DVD player). These films will have been compressed to save space but there will be some loss in quality in doing this.
Higher quality compressed films will be anything from 1GB to 3GB, and exact copies (i.e. no extra compression) can be 4GB+
Remember to only download films that don't have any copyright restriction on them and if your ISP limits the amount you download, pay attention to how many GB you've downloaded.
If you're looking for short clips (e.g. music videos), the file sizes will be less than 100MB, and 350MB is typical for a TV programme (but remember not to break copyright!).

if your looking for a movie the larger the file usually means the better the quality bitrate is key also you want to get the higher bitrate now those kind of files are gonna take up more room also make sure you at least watch it before you burn it.
avi files you cannot watch until they're done so hopefully it's what the title says

Yeah you may get carry of movies on limewire, any length. My acquaintances did it each and all the time. It takes a at an analogous time as to get carry of nonetheless, finding on the form of pc you have. And in case you have a greater moderen pc the swifter it gets carry of, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to take some hours.
