Great question. When you consume food your chewing action and the addition of saliva aid the food to break down, after it has been swallowed it goes into to stomach where the food is broken down even more and gastric juices are added to further the break down of the material, when it enters your small intestines, and since it has been broken down into its molecular components, the calories, vitamins, minerals, etc will be absorbed into your blood steam and sent to where it needs to go. Anything left over is waste and therefore is expelled from the body.

That is the pirpose of eating...to consume calories as the food passes through the intestine.
Did you think the poop magically appears? Do you think food is eaten and never passed?

Yes - poo is all the waste material that couldn't be digested by your body. Most of the sugars, fats and proteins and what ever else are absorbed as it passes through our intestines.
So poo is pretty much filled with c"£$
