Our theatre company has a couple of scripts which we have written ourselves - a panto, and a historical comedy which we have performed to good reviews... we are considering making the performance rights available to others, come next spring. How should we go about this?

The most obvious choice would be to go through traditional publishing venues such as Samuel French http://www.samuelfrench.com and Dramatists Play Service http://www.dramatists.com to see if they carry anything like what you have written. Also consider picking up a copy of the Dramatists Sourcebook, published annually by TCG, to take a look at their selection of publishers to see if any of them meet your needs.

Failing that, consider publishing them yourself. Since you have an existing theatre company mechanism, you can use people you already have in place to handle licensing requirements, and most good-quality printing services can produce simple square-bound acting editions, which you can sell through book distributors such as Ingram.

I easily have considered this in the previous, and he has each ideal to declare it. the place is the difficulty? particular he's bias, yet he states info. you're putting down the message in it somewhat is entirety yet you do no longer dispute the info? So Obama wasn't born in sixty one? So Obama did no longer flow to college on Indonesia? So Obama did no longer hold close out with the folk he suggested he did in his books? I only don't get it, what are you disputing precisely? And the place the place you a twelve months in the past while Glenn Beck replaced into working for CNN? while he replaced into off the wall approximately Bush, the place the place you? So it somewhat is okay that Beck suggested stuff approximately Bush while he replaced into on CNN, yet now that he's against Obama on Fox information, he's a coked out devil? perchance, and this would be a great perchance, he only does not like being lied to, via the two party.

You could go to the local theatre and contact someone there who buys plays and ask them if they want to buy them. For example I would go to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. I do not know how difficult that might be though. You could ask a theatre teacher for advice.

I'm sure if you contact a company such as Noda http://www.nodanw.com they will be able to help you with this as they hold the rights for many shows. If you do through them they will also advertise your show for you and you'll make more royalties!!! Good Luck
