Islam is against Terrorism....
it is foriegn media & politic which has created a huge propaganda against Islam so that all others start hating muslims & they get to rule muslim countries like Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir, Libenon, Bosnia, etc...
Tell me any where in the world where Muslims have come to foriegn land & captured the non muslims land...
Not a single non muslim country is under atack of Muslim Army, Arabs or others...
It is only all muslim countries who r suffereng from such attrocities ....
the world leaders make plans to destroy muslim countries so that they can rule there & the natural resources are easily taken to their own countries...
The 9/11 was also a great plan to target muslims as terrorists...
the Hijackers are still alive ...
& what ?
no jew died in 9/11....
& 9 /11 was an excuse of US & allied forces to attack Iraq....
& the forces killed innocent muslim children, women & men totalling 655,000 iraqis killed..
All oil is now free for US government.... & they will sell it to their own people...
Saddam has been given death sentence for inhumane acts & torture with iraqi people.....
What about the 2 troups which turtured iraqi soldiers & took pictires of the naked soldiers?
Was that justice?
Was that humane?
What about the master mind Bush & blair who are planning new & new ways to kill innocent muslims....
Don't they deserve to be hanged till death?
all this is happening under nose of evey person but still they deny all injustice & support people against muslims...
Where is real terrorism?
right in muslim countries wehere muslims are slaughtered like chickens...

Islam does not mean terrorism. BUT it does however provide an excuse for someone to commit terrorism. This is not new or exclusive to Islam. We have seen it before in history with Christianity as well.

Islam, by pure definition, is a word of Arabic origin meaning "submission". In the Islamic religious context, it means submitting all your will, life and soul to Alluh (God).
The mere fact that some terrorist activities do take place in the name of 'Islam', be it justified or not, is irrelevant to the name of the religious affiliation.

no, it means "submission". Submission to Allah's will, that is. The Koran is pretty clear on what that means. Islamic fundamentalist thought creates terrorism by acting upon these commandments.
Mind you, the bible also has plenty of barbarism in it. I wonder if Ted Haggard believes he should be stoned to death for his "sins" like Leviticus commands...

Islam comes from the root word ‘salaam’, which means peace. It also means submitting one’s will to Allah (swt). Thus Islam is a religion of peace, which is acquired by submitting one’s will to the will of the Supreme Creator, Allah (swt).

Not at all. Islam comes from the word salam in Arabic.
