Well the first question to ask is do you believe that there are spirits and principalities?
My answer would be a resounding, YES!!!
We are in spiritual warfare. Since the beginning of time there has been a battle of wills between God and Satan (his former Angel). But in order to answer this question one has to think and know in their hearts that there is something out there bigger than us. We were made of the dust and dust we shall go back to. But in the mean time we are in a battle over good and evil. Look around you, do you think that a terrorist would be a good person? We are at war with others, if there wasn't spiritual warfare, then would there be war? Why is it that Christians are ridiculed and killed in the name of Allah and Muslims are not? If we look at the doctrines, you will see that we are here for warfare, but to love our enemies. We are of the Lord and he has put us above all else in this world. Satan wants to destroy what is precious to God. That is why we have Jesus Christ as our go between (so to speak) and through Christ we are able to defeat the works of Satan and his cohorts.
Yes, we are in spiritual warfare, all one has to do is become sensitive to the fact and you will see what is going on around us and in the world in large. This world is going down hill fast and it is only a matter of time before it will end. Are you ready? Will you know your ready?

yes, i think we are in a spiritual warfare. The role of the spirit is not to fall to the snares of evil. Satan wants your soul and when evil has won your soul , your spirit dies.
