Make sure that the beer is cold and hold the glass at a 45 degree angle, the pour slowly into the glass. If you notice a build up of foam starting to form, pour the beer more slowly or tilt it at an angle further away from the pour. Have patience then enjoy your perfect beer!

Hi

You have to tilt the glass slightly to the side, and from just under the rim of the beer glass you must let the beer pour down the inside of the glass. Don't let it pour onto the other beer that you've already poured into the glass cause that's how it foams.

Was a bar lady.

Enjoy!

If you are transferring beer from a bottle/can to a glass. Gently pour it to the glass. If you can pour it so that the beer coming from the mouth of the bottle or can is almost near the glass. Normally you tile the glass 45 degrees. Remember that the higher you pour the more bubble/foam will be generated. Cheers!

if youre wanting to reduce the amount of foam (carbonization) in the drink itself, just add a sprinkle of salt to the beer. this will cause a chemical reaction and the beer will foam up a bit but you will getting rid of all that carbonization and thus all the gases that come with it. tastes better too.

You want to know how to reduce it, or avoid it in the first place? Most people seem to be telling you how to avoid it. If you want to reduce it in a beer you've already poured, the finger trick works. Just stir it w/ your finger. It's more effective if you wipe the side of your nose or face w/ your finger first. Something about the oils on your skin helps.

When you pour beer, incline your glass at 45 degree first, then level off as it fills up.
