He always say can you be my stead but when i said yes he said no... but he always get worked up when i mention about who he like though he doesn't like them...he always sit beside me and doesn't mind me coming near to him and he always calls me in the middle of the night...and doesn't say anything at all does he like me?

I only want to tell you that love is transparent, u don't have to play hide and seek to discover if a person loves u , if he realy does he can not stand without any reaction : in two words he is not in love with u.
