The more accepted varieties are beef, pork, lamb, fish, chicken, duck, goose, rabbit.. etc.
Some of the more exotic meat you might regularly find in restaurants are venison(deer), emu, ostrich, kangaroo, snake, Plus any wild game the chef is willing to cook.
If you ask a chinese, they would basically give you the same list of animals on Noah's arc.

Depending where do you live...
The Chinese eat a lot of kinds of meat, dog, beef, chicken, pork, et cetera. They are too much to be mentioned.
While the SouthEast Asians mostly eat beef and chicken.

If you're looking for personal experience, I regularly eat chicken and beef. I also eat lamb, pork and veal, but not as often. On rare occasions I've even eaten kangaroo.
