Have any of you tried this? I have just started the "sole source" version so I am allowed 3 meal replacements per day plus 4 pints min of water, and wondered if any of you have any experience of this diet.

Richard T the idea is that you re- educate yourself about eating and do not go back to your old habits. It is a bit pessimistic to say everyone who loses weight by meal replacements will put it back on once they quit dieting. I hope, in my case, you are wrong.

Cambridge Diet is fantastic, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's a great way to lose a lot of weight. They have a great stabilisation and maintenance programme too. Also, you feel really fab and healthy (after the first few days!!) because you're getting all your vitamins and minerals. So you can stay on it until you lose all your weight or use it to lose a couple of stone really quickly and then move onto something less "extreme" like Weightwatchers or Slimming World. However, you might be feeling so good that you'll want to stay on it until you reach your goal. There's also so many flavours that you don't get bored!! I wish you all the best with it, I hope it works as well for you xxx

I have done the first 30 days of Lighter Life which is really similar. I have lost nearly 2 stone and i am totally freaked out - Obviously it is great but equally i don't think its normal. I am going to return to eating and hopefully i won't regain weight as i got fat after an operation prevented me from exercising! Good luck - just be careful.

My cousin has two times tried Lipotrim, this is quite comparable and she or he did no longer experience in any respect nicely on it and had to quit. She is now effectively sticking to Weight Watchers. individually, i think of it relatively is insane to combat against your physique's organic intuition to eat while hungry and to basically exist on 3 beverages an afternoon, just to drop extra pounds quickly. persist with a healthful, balanced, weight loss application and exercising three times a week. it ought to take longer to lose the burden regardless of if it relatively is going to stay off and you will have learnt great ingesting conduct interior the period in-between. And balanced weight loss application would not advise salads each and every of the time; basically adapt the nutrition you prefer to make it greater healthy - ie, decide for semi-skimmed milk particularly of finished cream, mild unfold particularly of butter, fruit particularly of chocolate, and so forth. And Weight Watchers is a great determination too - I relatively have lost over a stone those days with them and not in any respect experience disadvantaged or that i'm lacking out on something. regardless of you do, basically ensure it relatively is sturdy for you and would not placed your wellness in possibility. xx

All diets will work, but the trick is to find one that you can stick to. By all means do the Cambridge Diet and you will lose weight. But once you go back to your normal way of eating you will put it all back again.
Sorry, but thats reality.
Edited to add....
Original Poster. I too hope you are correct and that you manage to keep it off. Good luck.
