How should the pay of a soldier, sailor and airman be determined? How should it relate to the minimum wage in Government and the pay of lowest rank in paramilitary/ internal security forces?

Their Should be no relation to the minimum wage. Their should not be a minimum wage but that is off topic

the pay for a service member should be set by supply and demand. If few people want to join than the pay should be raised. If we have more volunteers than we need it should be lowered or remain the same.

The pay system is great the way it is. The military is paid by rank and time in service. Their is also special duty pays like airborn, hazord duty pay, seperation of pamily...ect. Never by wage. Its set and should stay that way. Serving you country should never be about the money.
