Ive used Windolene before for this. You just smear it on liberally, then when youve finished your decorating you just polish off. Clean decor and clean windows xx

It's just old fashioned windolene that came in the purple bottle - they just rub it on with an old rag but don't rub it in so well that it brings up the shine, just enough to stop people looking in but it will not hurt the windows themselves.

Windolene. Its actually for cleaning windows, but you can just smear it on and it creates the white look that you see. Then buff it up and you will have sparkly clean windows.

We use Windolene, which has the added bonus of cleaning the windows as well when you take it off!
